Carlos Lauchu received his extensive science and mathematics training while receiving his Bachelor of Sciences in Pre-Med at an elite highly gifted program at Michigan State University. As Principal of the Science Academy STEM Magnet, Mr. Lauchu models successful teaching practices and assists colleagues with curriculum implementation that allows for the needs of all students. Mr. Lauchu has been a guest speaker at various in-state/out-of-state conferences. Mr. Lauchu captivates the students with an abundance of knowledge in Technology, Robotics, AP Biology and Honors Human Anatomy, Physiology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics and Honors Astronomy.

Mrs. Huff has been teaching for 30 years. She has been recognized in WHO’S WHO OF AMERICA’S TEACHERS for her outstanding instructional practices. She holds degrees in both Psychology and Child Development which enable her to nurture each of the student’s individual learning modalities.

 

Mrs. Huff’s goal is to prepare her students to become lifelong learners and competent decision makers. She strives to help them make connections between real life, academic skills, concepts and attitudes. Most importantly, she hopes to guide them through their school years as they become kind, respectable and responsible global citizens.
