Stay tuned here to sign up for a tour of The Science Academy STEM Magnet. Tours will be given on select dates in Sept. - Nov., 2018. See this link for specific times and dates. Each tour has a maximum of 20 spaces, so sign up early.

Application Process

1. The application process for The Science Academy must begin by completing the LAUSD eChoices application online between Oct. 1, 2018 – Nov. 9, 2018.
2. After the application period closes, a mandatory entry assessment (in November 13, 2018, 3:30 - 5:30 PM), will be given at the school.
3. Following the Math/Science assessment, LAUSD will notify you of your eligibility to continue on to the Magnet Lottery. All eligible students will be selected from the Magnet Lottery according to LAUSD Magnet criteria.

Important dates to remember:

 

October 1, 2018 – November 9, 2018: Submit application for The Science Academy G/HG/HA STEM Magnet through eChoices.

 

November 13, 2018, 3:30 - 5:30 PM: Mandatory Math/Science assessment at The Science Academy G/HG/HA STEM Magnet.
