Drop-Off

When you are dropping your child off to school, you must use the areas indicated below.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS LANES…YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

Our Campus Police Officer will be ticketing violators. This is an effort to remind everyone of the following:

When you are traveling north on Vineland Ave, you may NOT TURN LEFT into the school parking lot between 7 AM and 9 AM or between 2 PM and 4PM. YOU WILL BE TICKETED (see the attached photos).

While traveling on Vineland Ave in either direction, you may NOT DO A U-TURN... you will be ticketed. (see the attached photos).

There are signs posted that say "no stopping" and "no parking". Please do not stop or park in these areas. If you do, YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

Do NOT park in front of a red curb.

Do NOT ever leave your vehicle unattended.

And finally, please remember to drive slowly and safely through the parking lot...and to use the ENTIRE stretch of the drop-off/pick-up pull-out to drop off/pick up the kids- be courteous to the car behind.

NO PARKING OR UNATTENDED VEHICLES!!!

School begins at 8:20 A.M. every day, and we are encouraging you to arrive between 8:00 and 8:20 A.M. Any student arriving earlier than 8:00 A.M. must go directly to the auditorium for supervision where they will be able to study, review their work or get ready for the day. Students may not be anywhere else on campus other than the auditorium and will be escorted to the 3rd floor after 8:00 A.M.

At pick-up, again, please use the above indicated areas. DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS LANES. Also, please do not have your child wait for you in the faculty parking lot (they must wait safely behind the fence\gate), as there is traffic in that lot and it is unsafe to have students there. The Science Academy Gate will be locked after school. East Valley High School releases their kids at 3 pm. The campus is cleared of their students by our dismissal time at 3:42 P.M. We will thus be able to open the main front gate for all of our students since it will put them closer to the parent pickup area out front. Once the front gate is locked, the remaining students will be allowed to wait for their parents in the front office lobby for pick-up.

All students not enrolled in an after-school program, or Beyond the Bell, MUST BE PICKED UP by 4:30. If you cannot pick your child up, please call and let us know.

Every Tuesday is a minimum day and school gets out at 2:17 P.M. Busses will be picking up the students at early dismissal on those days. Students who ride the bus must go directly to the front of the school every day at dismissal to find their bus with their route number.
