I'M A CREATIVE

CREATIVE/GRAPHIC PRODUCTION

DIRECTOR/MANAGER/ARTIST

I work in the Greater Los Angeles area, but I am accepting work from any time zone if working on it remotely.

With over 30 years of experience and a thirst for learning new skills, I would be a valuable addition to the creative team at CBS.

I possess a wide range of skills and abilities that combine: Management experience with high-pressure deadlines; budgets, interfacing with domestic and international clients, designers, vendors and licensors; Creative experience with Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office, including all aspects of print production, web/email animated and static graphics, motion graphics, and creating and collaborating on presentation projects from initial concept to final product; Technical experience with planning and executing pre-press, print production, web and email publishing, computer networking, and administering the DAM systems, Canto Cumulus and Extensis Portfolio, plus the font management system Extensis Universal Type Server.

RESUME

11/1998 – 5/2020 / DIRECTOR, DIGITAL OPERATIONS

Brierley+Partners  •  Los Angeles, CA

Hired as Asst. Studio Manager and promoted to Director, Digital Operations to run the production art studio. Managed production for client print, email and web work and Brierley corporate marketing materials, branding, website and trade show materials and videos. Helped drive initiatives to update production studio and improve productivity. Oversaw Canto Cumulus customization to adapt it to our needs and workflow.

The following are few of the highlights of my skills and accomplishments from my last job at Brierley+Partners:

• COMPANY REBRANDING: In close collaboration with the Creative and New Business teams, I helped develop the digital assets and final production files for the company’s rebranding in early 2020. This included a full suite of omnichannel communications: capabilities brochures, emails, website assets, product demo digital assets, new business videos, animations, trade show booths and sales materials.

• ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: Implemented and maintained an asset management system for the Creative department. Developed system requirements and researched solutions to enable tracking of assets and usage rights. Successfully installed Canto Cumulus image database, which housed all client assets, associated usage rights and job history. This eliminated file redundancy and ensured all usage rights were up to date. The system also provided a single source from which all Creative team members could access files. The database housed over 50,000 assets and images. In late 2019, oversaw the transition from Canto Cumulus to a more cost-effective solution: Extensis Portfolio.

• DIGITAL WORKFLOW TRANSFORMATION: In conjunction with our IT team, as well as Project Management, helped develop systems and processes to transition from a paper-based, manual workflow to a fully digital workflow using Jira and Box. Developed the specific workflows and documentation impacting Creative and the Studio and corporate-wide training for successful implementation.
