CREATIVE MANAGEMENT, PRODUCTION AND PROCESS WORKFLOW

Hired as a Production Artist and was promoted to running all the production for Travel Guides for Fielding. I managed the design and production of Fielding Travel Guides, including trade catalogs and sales materials for trade and consumer advertising, retail POP displays, posters, and international trade shows. Designed the book layout for Fielding Travel Guides for major relaunch of 50-year-old line and automated the formatting of the travel guides. Designed & produced Fielding’s internet website.

 

Management

• Managed all production staff; production artists, copywriters, editors.

• Responsible for the production of 53 Travel Guides per year.

 

Technical

• Built network in office.

• Mac IT/Software Help Desk.

• Developed macros to translate files from Compu-Graphics to Quark files that would import with all formatting applied.

 

Creative

• Develop and draw maps

• Design and develop icons.

• Select and color correct images for covers
